I love to read, so much so that I’ve spent five years learning and writing about literature. I spend most of my time during the semester writing with a little Bearded Dragon on my shoulder and a Yorkie at my side. I am a full-time self-proclaimed nerd, but I can’t name a single character from The Lord of the Rings.

 

My project examines how colour, race, and optics intersect in Toni Morrison’s The Bluest Eye.
